Paving will shut down streets near downtown Lexington starting Wednesday
Eight streets near downtown Lexington will be closed starting Wednesday for paving that is part of a much-larger sewer project, city officials said Monday.
Milling to prepare the roads for paving should begin Wednesday weather permitting. Paving will take place Thursday and Friday. Businesses and residents of those eight streets will still have access.
The eight streets that will be closed to outside traffic are:

▪ Driscoll Street
▪ DeRoode Street
▪ Valley Avenue
▪ Willard Street
▪ Edmond Street
▪ Perry Street
▪ Williamson Street
