Donation drive for pets displaced by Hurricane Harvey

Paws 4 the Cause is offering Kentuckians a way to help displaced pets in the path of Hurricane Harvey. A supply transport will be sent from Lexington to Texas to support Austin Pets Alive, which has already taken in hundreds of displaced animals.

The Harvey Displaced Pets Donation Drive will continue until all pets lost in the flood find their way home. Supply donations can be dropped off at Pet Wants, 321 South Ashland Avenue; LexPets, 211 Capstone Drive, No. 150; and Earth Dog, 713 Allendale Drive. Items may also be left outside the front door of Paws 4 the Cause, 201 Newtown Pike.

For information on donations needed, follow Paws 4 the Cause on Facebook or go to Paws4theCause.com. Call 859-619-9190 with questions. Monetary donations can be made to Austin Pets Alive at Austinpetsalive.org.
