The Realtor-Community Housing Foundation has donated $50,000 to two nonprofits in the Bluegrass.

Lexington Habitat for Humanity received a $25,000 donation ($20,000 is for continued support of the Love Your Neighborhood program, which focuses on revitalization in low-income neighborhoods through owner-occupied home repairs. The other $5,000 is for the Hands and Hearts home-buyer project, specifically for support of its Women Build component).

Reach Inc. received $25,000 for emergency repairs to existing homes for low- to moderate-income families, disabled or elderly homeowners in the 22-county jurisdiction of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors. Both organizations align with the foundation’s goal to empower families and strengthen neighborhoods by assisting homeowners in need.
