The Urban League of Lexington’s Empowerment Banquet, celebrating community service and individual and corporate champions of diversity, will be at 5 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Lexington Center’s Bluegrass Ballroom, 430 West Vine Street.

The Urban League of Lexington’s Empowerment Banquet, celebrating community service and individual and corporate champions of diversity, will be Oct. 2 at the Lexington Center’s Bluegrass Ballroom, 430 West Vine Street. Doors will open at 5 p.m. with a cash bar reception, followed by dinner and a program at 6 p.m.

Michael Browder Sr. with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be the keynote speaker.
