The “Conversations with the Region” series continues from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday with a discussion on land use and planning at the Georgetown College Conference Center. Cost is $40, which includes continental breakfast and lunch. Register here.

The discussion will raise awareness of land use-related issues in the Bluegrass, especially in counties with comprehensive planning processes under review, including Fayette, Scott and Woodford.

The keynote speaker will be Scott Siefker, principal of Taylor Siefker Williams Design Group, with offices in Louisville and Indianapolis. A facilitated discussion, “Planning for the Future of Our Land” will be in the afternoon.
