Altrusa gives dictionaries to 119 Breckinridge students

Altrusa International of Lexington presented dictionaries to 119 third-graders at Breckinridge Elementary School on Sept. 8, which was International Literacy Day, as part of its 2017-18 Dictionary Project.

This it the eighth year that the Altrusa Club has provided dictionaries to students. Third-graders in 11 more Lexington schools will be presented with dictionaries during the school year. Go to Altrusalexky.com for more information.
