Quilters make Quilts of Valor for military service veterans

Local and state quilters have been working all year stitching Quilts of Valor to be presented to 15 to 20 military service veterans on Saturday during a brunch at the Fayette County Extension Office, 1140 Harry Sykes Way. This honor is for heroes and their families who have been touched by war.

Quilts of Valor has awarded 119,600 quilts nationally.
