Luminate Lexington tree-lighting rings in the holidays

Hundreds of people gathered in Triangle Park on Friday to ring in the holiday season with songs and ice-skating for the annual Luminate Lexington tree-lighting ceremony.

Mayor Jim Gray, carolers and, of course, Santa were all in attendance as the giant tree at the corner of West Main Street and South Broadway was lit.
