Ric Flair, Trevor von Eeden. Comic Con lists who will join Chuck Norris in Lexington.
Wanting to give comic book fans an early Christmas present, the Lexington Comic & Toy Convention unveiled a list on Sunday of notable comic book artists, authors and celebrities that would be in attendance during next year's convention that runs from March 9 to 11.
Guests announced on Sunday included:
▪ Ric Flair, who is highly regarded as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time and has been voted Wrestler of the Year six times by Pro Wrestling Illustrated. Flair, who was also at this year’s Comic Con, will be at the convention all three days next year.
▪ Trevor von Eeden, who for DC Comics designed and drew the first African-American superhero to have his own title, Black Lightning. Von Eeden's has also worked on the "Green Arrow" and "Batman” comics.
Prior to Sunday, Lexington Comic Con had announced several other guests slated to also attend the convention. They include:
▪ Chuck Norris, a television and movie star known for his role as playing Cordell Walker in Walker, Texas Ranger as well as his martial arts.
▪ Lou Diamond Phillips, an actor and director, known for his roles as Angel David Guzman in the movie “Stand and Deliver” and The King of Siam in the 1996 Broadway revival production of “The King and I”
▪ Elizabeth Daily, an actress and singer known for voicing Tommy Pickles on the Nickelodeon series Rugrats and Buttercup in the original version of Cartoon Network’s The Powerpuff Girls.
▪ Trish Stratus, a former WWE wrestler and fitness model. Stratus was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013 at age 37, making her the youngest person to be inducted.
