Vacation continues for Fayette County students: No school Wednesday
There will be no school in Fayette County Wednesday.
Fayette County Public School officials made the announcement just after 5:30 p.m., citing “neighborhood road conditions. Fayette joined several other districts in canceling classes.
It is the fourth day of the 2017-18 school year that classes have been canceled in Fayette County because of bad weather. Classes were also dismissed early Friday . It is also the third day this week that students did not have classes. Schools were closed Monday for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday and canceled Tuesday due to weather.
In addition to Fayette, Clark, Jessamine,Woodford and Madison County schools closed Wednesday as did others throughout the state.
