Updated: Coroner says public helped him locate family of homeless man
The coroner’s office announced Tuesday afternoon that it had found relatives of Phillip Wayne Phillips and notified them of his death.
Phillips, 64, died of natural causes Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, according to the coroner. He listed the Hope Center as his residence, the coroner’s office said.
The coroner was initially unable to find any relatives of Phillips.
