Injury collision involving tractor-trailer temporarily closes I-64 in Lexington
A collision involving a tractor-trailer Wednesday led to heavy traffic for more than hour on Interstate 64 in Lexington.
The collision occurred around 1:40 p.m. at mile marker 73 on I-64 just prior to the northern split with Interstate 75., according to the Lexington Traffic Management Center. The traffic management center said at least one injury occurred in the crash.
The road was completely shut down until around 2:25 p.m., when the left lane opened, the traffic management center said. All lanes were reopened after 3 p.m.
