Tates Creek Road near Malabu Drive in Lexington was reopened Friday morning hours after a gas line was broken and leaked.
Traffic was disrupted Thursday night while a portion of outbound Tates Creek was closed to allow for repairs.
The gas main was struck on Malabu Drive before 11 a.m. on Thursday. Officials reopened the left outbound lane of Tates Creek Thursday night and the rest of the road was back open Friday morning, according to the Lexington Traffic Management Center.
Outbound Tates Creek Road traffic had been diverted onto Dove Run Road as workers repaired the line.
