Breaking down the Central, Eastern Kentucky weekend weather forecast, changes ahead

We have some very pleasant temperatures in store for central and eastern Kentucky over the next several days, WKYT chief meteorologist Chris Bailey said. That’s good news for folks who will be spending a lot of time outdoors. The bad news? A chance for showers tonight during area high school games. Then the heat comes back early next week.
