Two injured, one killed, in two Lexington shootings near Richmond Road, South Broadway
A man died in a shooting early Tuesday in Lexington’s 26th homicide of the year, according to police.
The violence occurred at about 1:13 a.m. Tuesday on Osage Court near Woodhill Drive, according to Lexington police Lt. Chris Van Brackel. Police found two victims outside with gunshot wounds.
Damontrial Daquan Fulgham, 23, died at the scene, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.
Another man was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital with life-threatening injuries, police said.
Police were looking for witnesses and did not have a description of a suspect, Van Brackel said.
Another man was found with gunshot wounds outside Campus Court at Red Mile apartments late Monday night, according to Van Brackel The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that weren’t life-threatening, he said.
Police said witnesses observed the male suspect wearing a red hoodie.

The Osage Court violence is the city’s 26th homicide of the year and first of the month. Lexington had a record 28 homicides in 2017 and 22 last year.
