Want to tour this popular Lexington Christmas lights destination? Here’s your chance.

Already one of the premier spots to view Christmas lights in Lexington, the home at 1008 Chinoe Road will have its doors opened Sunday for a guided tour.

The outside of the large white home is full of decorations that would even make Santa jealous, but each room inside is also decorated for Christmas. Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. the home will be open to the public to view each of the rooms.

Tickets for the tour are $10 for adults and $5 for children and money raised will go to Kentucky Cystic Fibrosis Services, a non-profit that helps cystic fibrosis patients in the area with high prescription co-pays and doctor co-pays. The service also provides one meal a day for parents staying with their children in the hospital.

The home is owned by Ron and Linda Turner, who have previously opened up their home for Christmas-time fundraisers for charities such as Hope Hill Youth Services and Foster Care Council of Lexington.

The outdoor display is typically open seven days a week through New Year’s Day. Many families make annual visits to the home, which is widely considered one of the best places to view Christmas lights in the area.
