One person dies in wreck on New Circle Road, police say

A 38-year-old female died in a hospital after a wreck Friday morning.
The accident occurred at approximately 11 a.m. on the outer loop of New Circle Road near Harrodsburg Road.
An SUV went off the road, rolled over and ejected its passenger, police said.
The Fayette County Coroner’s Office will release her name after contacting her family members.
The driver of the vehicle, a 38-year-old male, was also transported to a hospital and has since been released.
While there have been no charges filed, the crash is still under investigation by the collision reconstruction unit.
