Lexington traffic: Exit ramps to Versailles Rd. closed after tractor-trailer loses load

Both exit ramps from New Circle Road onto the inbound lanes of Versailles Road have been shut down after a tractor-trailer lost its load, according to the Lexington Traffic Management Center.

Lt. Dillan Taylor with the Lexington Police Department said a truck carrying wooden pallets flipped on its side when trying to enter the inner loop of New Circle Road from the inbound Versailles Road lanes at approximately 12:30 p.m. The driver of the truck was not hurt, Taylor said.

The traffic management center initially said the ramps would be closed until about 3 p.m., but Taylor later said the ramps will likely be closed until about 3:30 p.m.
