Driver dies one week after a serious Lexington crash, coroner says

A man has died one week after a serious crash in Lexington, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office.

On Sept. 29 four people were sent to the hospital after a two-vehicle collision on Harrodsburg Road near Burbank Drive. Police said some of the victims had life-threatening injuries at the time.

On Saturday, the Fayette County Coroner’s Office reported that Timothy Cravens, 66, died from the crash. He suffered multiple blunt force injuries and was pronounced dead at 1:31 a.m. Friday at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. Cravens was one of the drivers in the crash, according to the coroner’s office.
