Four people sent to a hospital after driver in Lexington runs a red light, police say

Four people, including two juveniles, were sent to a hospital in Lexington Friday morning after being involved in a collision, according to Lexington police.

The crash happened around 10:20 a.m. at the intersection of Man O War Boulevard and Victoria Way, according to Lt. Dan Truex with the Lexington Police Department. Truex said a vehicle ran a red light and failed to stop, colliding with another vehicle.

The vehicle that ran the red light had two occupants, and both of them were transported to a hospital. Truex said their injuries were non-life-threatening.

The vehicle that was hit had three occupants, two of which were juveniles. Truex said the juveniles were transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The collision is still under investigation but no charges are expected to be filed, according to Truex.
