Traffic alert: One lane of busy section of New Circle Road will close Tuesday
One lane of New Circle Road at the Leestown Road overpass will be closed starting 9 a.m. Tuesday, transportation officials said.
The right, or slow, lane will be closed starting at mile point 7.4 for bridge deck repair for the Leestown Road/U.S. 421 overpass.
The closure is expected to last until 3 p.m., Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials said.
The section of New Circle Road is notoriously busy during peak commute times.
