Head-on crash leaves one person with life-threatening injuries, Lexington police say

A serious head-on crash in Lexington sent one person to a hospital Sunday, according to Lexington police.

The crash happened in the 5900 block of Todds Road at 5:18 p.m., according to Lt. Dan Truex with the Lexington Police Department. Truex said the two vehicles in the crash hit head-on. The location of the crash is east of I-75, close to the Clark County line.

The person who was hospitalized had life-threatening injuries, Truex said.

The collision reconstruction unit was called to investigate. It’s unknown if charges will be filed, Truex said.
