Are you ready for it? Lexington nonprofit raffling Taylor Swift ‘Era’s Tour’ tickets
Taylor Swift fans looking for tickets to the “Era’s Tour” show in Ohio may have a chance to win a pair — and benefit a Lexington nonprofit.
The Nest, a nonprofit organization supporting children and families in crisis, is holding a raffle for two tickets to Swift’s July 1 show at Paycor Stadium in Cincinnati, according to a news release.
Raffle tickets cost $50 each and all proceeds will benefit The Nest’s community programs for early childhood education, family assistance, counseling for survivors of intimate partner violence, and education and support for parents.
There will be a limit of 1,000 tickets sold, and you must be 18 years old to purchase. Tickets can be purchased on The Nest’s website.
The tickets will be in section 346 and come with a one-night stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites Cincinnati, according to their website.
Raffle tickets will be sold online until 11:59 p.m. June 24. There is no limit on how many tickets can be bought.
The drawing to select the winners will be telecast live on The Nest’s Facebook page at 10 a.m. June 25. The winner will be notified by email or phone after the drawing.
The Nest was founded in 1977 with the mission to provide services to individuals in crisis and prevent child abuse and neglect, according to their website. They offer free programs for education, counseling, advocacy and support.
“This raffle is really a three-for-one... not only are you getting the chance to win tickets to see Taylor Swift, but you’re also getting the hotel room AND the warm fuzzy feeling that you are helping a local nonprofit raise $50,000,” Jeffrey White, Executive Director of The Nest, said in a news release.
