3-year-old has life-threatening injuries after being hit by vehicle, Lexington police say
A 3-year-old child was taken to a hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Lexington late Saturday morning.
The child’s injuries were life-threatening, said Sgt. Matt Merker, of the Lexington Police Department.
The incident took place on the 3800 block of Trout Court, near Man o’ War Boulevard and Rapid Run Drive, and was reported at about 11:45 a.m.
Merker said the police department’s collision reconstruction unit and forensic services were investigating.
