Man o’ War Boulevard in Lexington closed after serious collision injures four people

All lanes of Man o’ War Boulevard were closed because of a serious three-vehicle crash at Mount McKinley Way in Lexington Tuesday night.

Four people were sent to a hospital.

The Lexington Police Department was called to the scene at about 6 p.m., said Lt. Brandon Helm.

Crews extricated two patients with serious injuries, according to a Lexington Fire Department spokesperson. Four ambulances responded to the scene.

Helm said one of the people who was taken to the hospital had life-threatening injuries.

As of about 8 p.m., traffic was being routed off Man o’ War at Pimlico Parkway and Mout McKinley Way, he said.

The Lexington Police Department’s Collision Reconstruction Unit was investigating the collision, which Helm said involved two passenger vehicles and a pickup truck.
