A new traffic light is coming to New Circle Road later this week.

The signal is at the off ramp of New Circle heading toward Old Frankfort Pike at mile marker 5.5. It’s been on flash mode since Sept. 30, and will be fully functional starting around 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, according to the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The light will have a protected left turn signal for motorists traveling from Old Frankfort Pike onto westbound New Circle Road. Standard red, yellow and green indications will be present for all other lanes of traffic.
