As work progresses throughout the night, contractors will change which lane is closed. Work will continue through Friday night beginning at 7 p.m. each evening. Lanes will reopen by 6 a.m. each morning.

This round of work will conclude by 6 a.m. Saturday.

Cabinet officials cautioned motorists to expect delays in the busy corridor where the two interstates meet.

The widening of I-75 is reduce congestion in that busy section of I-64 and I-75. It is expected to be completed in 2026, according to cabinet officials.
