Lexington Legends to debut ‘Legendary Festival of Lights’ this winter
The Lexington Legends are getting festive this winter.
The professional baseball team announced Friday it will host a light show from Nov. 21 to Jan. 4, 2026, featuring several family-friendly attractions, including glowing tunnels, a Christmas tree forest and community caroling nights.
Tickets are on sale now starting at $8, according to the festival’s website.
In a news release announcing the festival, Temerity Baseball, which purchased the Legends in 2024, emphasized the team’s role as a “community hub” for Lexington.
The festival is also soliciting sponsorship packages for the event.
“We are beyond excited to bring this festival to life for Lexington,” Justin Ferrarella, general manager of the Lexington Legends, said in the news release. “This is more than a light show, it’s a way to give families, fans, and businesses a joyful, memorable experience while continuing to drive community engagement and momentum through the offseason. It’s something truly special for our city.”
