The Fayette County Clerk’s office will temporarily close starting Thursday, Nov. 7, for renovations.

The office, which handles motor vehicle titles, voter registration, elections, deeds and other duties, will be closed starting at noon on Thursday, Nov. 7 and will reopen at 8 a.m. on Nov. 12.

LexPark, the city’s parking authority, will also be closing the adjacent Helix parking garage for a resurfacing project during that time, said Fayette County Clerk Susan Lamb.

People can renew their vehicle registration at www.DriveKy.org while the office is closed. Recorded deeds can be found at www.fayettedeeds.com.

The elections department will be open at the clerk’s warehouse on Nov. 6, Nov. 7 and Nov. 10 for candidates who want to pick up or turn in filing forms for the 2026 primary election.

For more details, candidates can call 859-253-3344 and select option 2.
