Nine displaced by fire at Lexington apartment complex Tuesday night

About nine people were displaced after an apartment fire on Beaumont Centre Lane in Lexington on Tuesday night.

Flames from the roof were visible when the Lexington Fire Department arrived at Beaumont Farms Apartments at 1101 Beaumont Centre Lane, according to a fire department spokesperson.

The apartments were evacuated, and no one was injured from the fire.

The residents of three apartment units were displaced by the fire, which was reported at 8:32 p.m.

A fire investigator was still working on Tuesday night to determine the cause and origin of the fire.
