93-year-old woman killed in downtown Lexington crash
A woman was killed in a car crash on Main Street Tuesday night, according to the Fayette Coroner’s office.
Juanita Puckett, 93 from Lexington, was a passenger in a car involved in the crash, which happened at Main Street and Jefferson Street around 9 p.m., the coroner said. Puckett died of blunt force injuries from the crash at UK Medical Center.
The Lexington Police Department responded to the crash and the Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating the incident, police said.
