Kentucky man dies at Extreme Rampage event at horse park

A man collapsed and died at an Extreme Rampage run and obstacle course at the Kentucky Horse Park on Saturday.

The Fayette County coroner's office identified him as Chad Arnold, 32, of Beaver Dam. An autopsy was being conducted in Frankfort, and funeral arrangements were pending, according to the coroner's office.

Extreme Rampage races combine a three- to four-mile race with more than 20 obstacles that have participants "crawl through mud, climb over walls, plunge into water and much more," according to the event website.
