Lexington: A United Air Lines plane traveling from Newark, N.J., to Nashville on Monday was diverted to Blue Grass Airport after reports of smoke in the cabin, airport spokeswoman Louise Bowden said. United Flight 4547 landed safely in Lexington at 9:05 a.m., she said, and the passengers were taken to Nashville on a charter bus.
