Lex-Care: Client needs help to pay rent and purchase furnace
Jennifer Garland, a social worker at The Lexington Senior Center, is seeking $450 in financial assistance to help a client pay her rent. Due to a miscalculation, the client is behind on her rent payments, and she cannot get caught up. She has a lot of past debt that she is working to pay off.
Additionally, she has no furnace and no source of heat for her home. She is trying to save enough money to buy a new furnace so her home will be habitable during the winter.
