It’s the busiest mailing day of the year

More than 600 million pieces of mail will be processed by postal workers today. Here are mail-by dates for Christmas delivery:

Saturday: First-class mail.

Dec. 23: Priority express mail.

‘The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe: A Christmas Ballet’

Featuring dancers from Gloria Deo School of the Arts and Wilmore Christian School of Ballet. Shows are at 5 and 8 p.m. at Transylvania University Haggin Auditorium, 300 North Broadway. Free admission.

Possibly the year’s most anticipated film, Star Wars: The Force Awakens opens on selected screens Thursday night and in full force the following day.
