Two men rob Marathon station on Bryan Station Road

Two men robbed the Marathon gas station at Bryan Station Road and Northside Drive about 9:30 p.m. Friday, police said.

One man, who wore a blue hoodie and camo pants, acted as a lookout, while the other, wearing a “grey hoodie pulled tight over his face,” pointed a silver handgun at a clerk behind the counter, police Lt. Joe Anderson said.

Another employee, the only other person in the store, was in an aisle when the men grabbed money from a register and ran from the store, Anderson said.

Police intend to check surveillance video to look for patterns from other robberies, Anderson said.
