Young Realtors of the Bluegrass, part of the Lexington-Bluegrass Association of Realtors, donated thousands of dollars to local charities in 2015.
The group, with the help of local real estate companies and LBAR members, sponsored 38 children as part of the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. The group also donated almost 50 new winter coats, hats and gloves to Gods Net as part of its 20th annual Faith and Community Christmas Store.
The group gave monetary donations and tangible items to the Catholic Action Center, GreenHouse 17, Gateway Helping Hands in Rowan County, Lighthouse Ministries, Realtor-Community Housing Foundation, Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Bluegrass and the Salvation Army. Members of the group also volunteered with local charities.
At the National Association of Realtors’ convention last fall, Young Realtors of the Bluegrass received the Medium Network of the Year award.
