Relatives of Vietnam-era Army veteran are located
The Fayette County coroner’s office has located relatives of an Army veteran who died Nov. 27.
Congrave Achilles Blanton, 63, died after complications in a heart surgery at University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital. The coroner’s office had sought the public’s help in finding his next of kin.
Blanton served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged.
Graveside service for Blanton is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Jessamine County.
