Three $1 million Powerball tickets sold in Kentucky
No one in Kentucky hit the jackpot during Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing, but three people in the Bluegrass will be $1 million richer.
Lucky players in Hazard, Walton and Paducah bought the tickets, matching all five white ball numbers but not the Powerball, according to the Kentucky Lottery. The $1 million tickets were sold at:
▪ Hazard Double Kwik #2
3593 West Ky. Hwy 80, Hazard
▪ Cincinnati South Travel Center
145 Richwood Road, Walton
▪ Smoke Shop #2
2300 North 8th St., Paducah
Players buying tickets in Mount Sterling, Harrodsburg, Benton, Florence and Hazard matched four white balls to win $50,000.
In total, Kentucky had 282,881 winners.
Wednesday’s numbers were 4, 8, 19, 27, 34 and the Powerball number 10.
