Car crashes into Lexington house after driver has medical problem

A car crashed into a Lexington house early Thursday, and the driver then left the scene before contacting police.

The car struck the house on the 300 block of Boiling Springs Drive, according to Lexington Police Lt. Ann Welch. Thehomeowners were not injured, Welch said.

The driver, a teenager having a medical problem, was found just before 5 a.m. at Main Street and Oliver Lewis Way after the crash and was taken to a hospital by ambulance, police said.

Welch said there wouldn’t be any criminal charges for the driver.
