Escaped inmate turns herself in to the Lexington jail
An inmate is back in a Lexington jail with a new charge after she failed to return from a work-release pass.
Tiffany L. Davis, 34, turned herself in to the Fayette County jail early Wednesday morning. She was charged with escape.
Davis was scheduled to return Monday night. Davis was being held on a charge of failure to appear in court, and she was expected to be released Thursday, according to jail officials.
