Drugs and alcohol ruled out in fatal one-vehicle crash
Drugs and alcohol have been ruled out as factors in a fatal one-vehicle crash Feb. 1 on Appian Way in Lexington.
Anthony Farley, 57, died of multiple blunt-force injuries after his pickup truck struck a tree, according to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office. Police said it appeared that the pickup had swerved off the right side of Appian Way and hit the tree near Trent Boulevard. Farley was the only occupant.
The coroner’s office said Wednesday that a toxicology screening was negative. An autopsy was not conducted, and a cause of the crash was not determined.
