Blue Grass Community Foundation seeks artists for Legacy Trail project

Blue Grass Community Foundation invites artists to submit applications for creating designs for flags, known as blazes, for the Legacy Trail. Selected artists will receive $1,200 for their final designs. There are at least two locations anticipated for new blazes, with more possible.

Applicants should submit five copies of a résumé and a letter of interest that includes experience with public art or large-scale projects, and up to 10 images of recent works.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. March 7 in the Blue Grass Community Foundation office, 499 East High Street, Suite 112, Lexington, Ky. 40507. Materials may be mailed, submitted via Dropbox or hand-delivered.

Selected artists will be notified by email by March 18.
