Read Across America event is March 5 at Fayette Mall
The seventh annual Read Across America event to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 112th birthday and the love of reading will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 5 in front of Dillard’s at Fayette Mall.
The event will feature celebrity readers every half hour, goodie bags for children, and appearances by the Cat in the Hat, Thing 1 and Thing 2.
The event is sponsored by the Fayette County Education Association, Fayette County Education Support Professionals Association and Fayette County Public Schools.
