A Lexington woman will stand trial in November on a murder charge in the stabbing death of her boyfriend whose body was found after she allegedly led police on a 40-mile chase.

Circuit Court Judge Thomas Clark set a trial date of Nov. 14-17 for Vanessa Napier, 33.

Napier was arrested in July 2015  after she stole a bucket truck, according to police. She led officers through Madison and Fayette counties before the truck was stopped with four flat tires at a road block on West Main Street.

Napier was charged with 10 offenses, including murder and tampering with physical evidence relating to the death of her boyfriend.
