Lexington shooting victim mum

A Lexington man who was shot overnight is not talking, according to police.

The man was found when officers responded to a shots-fired call in the 300 block of Oak Street about 1:30 a.m. Monday, police Lt. David Biroschik said. His injury wasn’t considered life-threatening.

Shell casings were found nearby between Oak Street and Whitney Avenue, but police said the shooting victim would not confirm the location of the shooting. .

The shooting is thought to be connected to “some type of disorder” that led to another injury: a man admitted to a Lexington hospital about 3 a.m. with a head injury, Biroschik said.

That man also refused to talk to police, he said.
