Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell to speak April 7 in Lexington
Apollo 13 commander Jim Lovell will headline the University of Kentucky Sanders-Brown Center on Aging Foundation’s annual dinner at 6:30 p.m. April 7 at the Lexington Center’s Blue Grass Ballroom.
Lovell turned “Houston, we have a problem” into an enduring part of the American lexicon.
The dinner will fund ongoing research at the center, where researchers are engaged in the battle against Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related illnesses.
