Richmond man indicted in Lexington on kidnapping, other charges

A Fayette County grand jury has indicted a Richmond man accused of holding two victims at gunpoint in an alleged rape attempt in February.

Vicente Contreras Juarez, 31, was indicted on charges of kidnapping, sodomy, sexual abuse and terroristic threatening .

Juarez, armed with a gun, threatened to kill the victims on Feb. 6, according to his arrest citation. He allegedly sodomized one and abused another. Court records did not reveal where the attack occurred or details about the victims.

Juarez is being held on a $53,750 bond. He is scheduled to be arraigned March 24.
