Construction continues on flyover ramp from Versailles Road to New Circle

The flyover ramp bridge is ready for additional steel girders as construction continued on the new flyover ramp at Versailles Rd. and New Circle in Lexington on Wednesday. The current “loop around” ramp that takes traffic from inbound Versailles Road to northbound New Circle is being replaced with this new “flyover” ramp similar to an overpass.

Additional steel girders were brought in as construction continued on the new flyover ramp at Versailles Road and New Circle in Lexington on Wednesday.

The current “loop around” ramp that takes traffic from inbound Versailles Road to northbound New Circle is being replaced with this new “flyover” ramp similar to an overpass.

The work is part of a larger project making New Circle wider from Versailles Road to Leestown Road. It is all scheduled to be finished by September.
