Three injured in two shootings in Lexington
Three people were injured in two shootings in Lexington within hours of each other late Friday and early Saturday.
The first shooting occurred at about 11 p.m. Friday at Red Mile Village apartments at 1035 Red Mile Road, when a man suffered a single gunshot wound “related to criminal activity,” police Lt. Jackie Newman said.
She said the injury was not life-threatening, and “the victim was uncooperative.”
The second shooting occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Saturday outside Club Envy on Woodhill Drive.
“There was a disorder inside and they were kicked out of the club,” Newman said.
She said the shooting, in which two men were injured, occurred in the parking lot.
Newman said one of the men was listed in critical condition early Saturday, but there had been no updates on his condition Saturday night.
She said the other man’s injury was not considered life-threatening.
There were no suspects in that case, either.
